Bimetallic clad pipe, also referred to as metallurgically bonded bimetallic pipe, is commonly abbreviated as bimetallic pipe (BP) or clad pipe (CP). It is also known as CRA-clad pipe (CRA-CP).The main body of the bimetallic clad pipe is the seamless carbon steel pipe, which is coated with a thin-walled corrosion-resistant material (stainless steel 316 or nickel-based alloy 625/825) on the inner wall of the carbon steel pipe by laser cladding processing.
The bimetallic metallurgical clad pipe combines the excellent strength and toughness of carbon steel with the corrosion resistance of stainless steel. Bimetallic Clad pipes can ensure optimal corrosion resistance and provide the longest lasting corrosion resistance.
